Free Recipes for Skin Discolorations (age spots, acne marks, etc..)

If you want your lotion to address a specific skin condinion such as skin discolorations due to age spots, acne marks or sun damage... You can use the recipe for the Easy lotion that I already posted or buy any lotion at your convenient store (drugstores, walmart, target, etc...). I personally like making my own, so I know what's in it and stay away from parabens, skin irritants and other possible harming solvents that most lotions have. Anyways once you have your 4 oz of lotion you need to get the following active ingredients:
  1. 1/2 tsp Niacinamide powder ( These is the recommended amount, I personally do a full tsp of each)
  2. 1 tsp N-Acetyl Glucosamine

You will mix them in the distilled water before adding to the rest of the mix. If you are using a store bought lotion I would recommend you dissolve it first in glycerine instead of water, so the consistency of the lotion doesn't change much. You can buy glycerine at any walmart and some groceries store carry it too, or buy it online.

It has been shown that the use of both ingredients together, N-Acetyl Glucosamine and Niacinamide can increase collagen production and significantly reduced hyperpigmentation, age spots, and uneven melanin distribution. You will be amazed by the results, but make sure to use a sunblock or stay away from the sun for better results.

*** Always do a patch test before putting them on the face.

*** Niacinamide is not recommended for people with Parkinson disease. If pregnant ask your doctor first.

You can get these ingredients from the online stores I mentioned before, I personally prefer to buy my active ingredients from Beyond A Century and sometimes from Bulkactives.com (but they are in China, shipping takes a little longer but they are reliable) their supplements and/or ingredients are sold in a very pure form and their prices are good.

  1. Of course you can buy the Niacinamide and N-acetyl glucosamine from any supplements store, but be aware that sometimes the supplement capsules are mixed with something else, wich may make your lotion grainy, since the other ingredients may not dissolve.
